A little bit back, I was feeling somewhat of a lull with my relationship with the Lord, I had this urge to write a list of all of the things that I love about Jesus. Oh let me tell you, this stirred something deep inside of me, it felt like a David writing the psalms in the dessert kind of moment…so beautiful. It is crazy to me how writing something like this so effectively realigns your heart with God’s as you look at Jesus and remind yourself why you are in love in the first place. And then, bonus jonus, later when you are looking through your journal or your notes app, you get to be reminded of the love story woven between you and your Creator and it makes you giddy all over again, or a weeping mess, depending on the mood hahah. These are a few of the things I wrote in my list, or my “love letter” to and about Jesus. I cannot encourage this enough, let Jesus soften your heart towards Him again as you.

He makes my heart tender to Him, others and myself, softening me and sculpting me to be more like Him

He is steady, I’m always learning more about him and his nature, but he doesn’t change, my understanding of him only grows

He is so patient with me, i make him wait so long with my stubbornness and yet he still loves so deeply and is so so patient

He makes me laugh and smile

He fights for me, covering my mind with his thoughts, combatting the lies of the enemy, coming against the sin and temptation of satan, providing for me so abundantly
