embracing seasonal joys with a bucketlist!

Here’s the deal

I love the seasons

Whenever I’m asked what my favorite season is

I always answer with the current season

There is just so much to love about the weather transitions, the change in the air and on the earth.

Living in a way that mirrors the natural cycles of the earth is inspirational to me.

I love cherishing and celebrating each season as it comes, taking the good with the bad and frolicking in the joy that only that season can bring

Enter the seasonal bucket list…

This is an activity I take great pleasure in as one season comes to its end and another begins

I start by compiling a list of my favorite activities to complete within those three or so months, and then I jot them all down. Once you start, it’s honestly hard to stop! Then comes the fun part…making it cute!! I opted for a pseudo mood board(ish) inspired bucket list for this summer. I also decided because I had so many, that I would make separate “boards” for each month, extra I know, but just shhh I don’t need to hear it. I searched the great depths of my beloved Pinterest for cutesy summery pics that felt like they encapsulated my vision and matched with my bullet points. Then Canva made me look like a freaking pro graphic designer…no sweat, and boom here we are, all the better for it! I also felt the urge to break my busketlist up by months, so I ended up with a June & July {still working on August} moodboard bucketlist…becuase one just wasn’t enough. Hehe! 🤭

Without further adieu, here are the bucketlists of my sun-soaked, summer girly dreams:

so far i have checked a several things off my list with plans to finish more within the next few weeks! my vision when creating these bucketlist moodboards was to challenge myself to soak in the summer season for all its worth and to not let our tight entertainment budget stop me from having fun and making sweet memories in the sun 🌞

so far, I can confidently say that it is excelling at it’s role and I am so pumped to cross everything off my list 🙂 It’s not too late for you to make your own for the season as well! it doesn’t have to be over the top like mine, it can simply be a pen on paper list, but let it inspire you to step out of your comfort zone and truly enjoy the gifts that each season brings! Thanks for being here and reading!!!

lots of love,

em 🤍
